Blocked drain on Birmingham road - large drain relining and excavation

An industrial site forecourt, south of Birmingham was often flooded due to a blocked drain. Drain Doctor Birmingham were called to inspect the blocked drain, establish its cause and fix it! And we did just that.

A CCTV survey of the drain revealed a damaged pipe that had, over time, become blocked with substrate and pea grain. It was decided that part of the pipe could be fixed with relining but that the worst affected section was beyond repair.

There was only one solution to avoid future flooding on the road and that was to dig up the worst damaged pipe. Our well-equipped, well-trained team got to work excavating the old drainage pipe and completed the job by flushing any remaining substrates with a high pressure water jetter. A job well done.

If you know of a road in Birmingham that floods after rain, this is likely caused by a blocked drain and we suggest you report it to Birmingham City Council.

Installation of primary pipework in new bathroom

We visited a domestic client in Kings Heath, Birmingham to install the primary pipework for a brand new toilet suite. After half-a-days quick and clean plumbing work by the Drain Doctor Birmingham team our client’s bathroom was ready for the next stage of the refurbishment.

We’ll be back soon to fit the shower, toilet, radiator and basin!
